At CyberStreams, we are leading the way with our technology as well as our practices. We look to provide services that are environmentally friendly and cost efficient for everyone. There are a lot of ways we have been able to make CyberStreams greener and the goals are simple: reduce waste, maximize efficiency, and minimize cost.
It all starts with recycling. We look to recycle everything we can from paper to old computers. Additionally, technologies such as cloud computing, virtualization, and colocation allow us as well as our clients to be environmentally conscious.
Using cloud computing, we can offer computing resources to our clients without physically placing any servers or additional equipment on-site. As a function of cloud computing, virtual machines allow clients access to a real computer and its resources remotely. Therefore virtual machines offer all the computing services as normal computers and allow us to better maintain the health of our client’s IT systems by application provisioning, maintenance, high availability and disaster recovery.
